Garden View

Glebe House is a gorgeous place to stay with family & friends. It is a beautifully proportioned and sunny 4 bedroom house with a stylish design. It has a stunning entrance hall, huge open plan kitchen and a utility room. Two bedrooms have their own ensuite.

There is fantastic walking around, lovely pubs and great places nearby to visit including Salisbury, Stonehenge, Longleat Safari park, many historical sites and beaches within the hour.

The house boasts a large open plan kitchen with dining table and a breakfast bar to sit at when drinking your morning coffee or keeping the cook company. A De Longhi coffee machine is provided.

There's a large sitting room with 3 sofas and wood burner - plenty of space to relax and put your feet up or enjoy playing games with friends & family. A starter basket of wood & kindling will be provided.

The garden is contained so safe for children and dogs. It's south facing so benefits from sunshine all day! There's a swing seat in the garden & an old but functionable pool table in the garage which you are welcome to use. There is also a utility room for those muddy boots.

Neighbouring houses are close. We live in a lovely and friendly village but we do ask noise to be kept to an absolute minimum after 10pm and all music to be turned off. It's amazing how it travels.

This is the perfect house for a family get together and a relaxing break.

HOUSE INFORMATION

The house has 4 bedrooms:
Master bedroom has a king size bed.
Second and third bedrooms have zip & link beds which can either be a super king or 2 full size singles.

The fourth bedroom is the smallest in the house and has a 4ft bed. Commonly referred to as a small double.
We also have access to 2 guest beds which have proper pocket sprung mattresses. There is an additional fee of £20 per bed per night of stay.

Our beds often feature in our reviews as super comfortable - we hope you will agree!

All in all the house sleeps 7 very comfortably (8 if you’re happy with 2 in a small double). It can sleep up to 10 by arrangement.

When you arrive there is a comprehensive welcome book with plenty of information about the house and maps with highlighted routes of some of the amazing walks in the surrounding area. We are very lucky to have a butcher, baker and a co-op supermarket within 5 minutes of the house.

Biking is also great in the area and through Grovely woods. If you want to bring your bikes with you then you are welcome to keep them in the garage.

We can arrange a hot tub subject to availability, please enquire if you'd like this option. Prices start at £210 for 2 nights. Please note this is subject to availability. If the hot tub is an absolute key requirement for your stay please send us an enquiry first so we can just confirm.

We are happy to host well behaved pets, please let us know on booking. There is a flat rate of £25 per pet.

Any questions you have feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them. They can be about the area, places you might want to visit, the best pubs, I 'm happy to share my local knowledge and ensure you have the best stay you could ask for.

GUEST ACCESS & OTHER NOTES

Guest access

You'll have full access to the house although there is a small larder in the kitchen which will be locked but there is plenty of space for your storage in the kitchen. We also have a linen cupboard upstairs which will remain locked during your stay.

Other things to note

We have neighbours and are a semi detached so ask that you are considerate and keep noise after 10pm to an absolute minimum. All music must be turned off (inside and in the garden) before 10pm. Noise can travel through the village too so we ask that noise outside is kept to a minimum also after this time.

Please note you have your own private entrance and although we are a semi-detached you wouldn't really be aware of this when living there.
